A PHOTOGRAPHIC PORTRAIT OF A TRANSITIONAL STAGE IN URBAN REGENERATION ON THE SOUTH KILBURN ESTATE

Estate of Change is a photographic portrait that captures a moment in the “decanting” of two tower blocks due for demolition in the South Kilburn Estate, London. The series of photographs journey through the urban landscape of the estate to discover the inpenetrable metal doors and locks which seal away vacated flats and the memories and histories held within. The study was exhibited at the Brent Civic Centre in partnership with Brent Council.
