WHY DESIGN FOR WELLBEING?
OUR SURROUNDING DEEPLY AFFECT US
There is mounting scientific evidence on how the places we spend our lives in and around have a significant and wide-reaching impact on our wellbeing.
But the question of how we can harness this potential is rarely asked in the process of making buildings and places.
As human beings, we need much more than functional or decorative shelters to feel good. There is much more that can be done for people's quality of life.
Currently however the potential for positive human impact is often left untapped and not explored to its full capacity.
WHAT WE DO
We design for human outcomes, taking a experience-led approach to creating uplifting places; not just more stuff
Our work is fundamentally driven by people’s emotional, psychological and social needs and we incorporate evidence-backed insights into our process.
We focus on the interaction and relationships between people and their surroundings – the effect on their behaviour, mood, senses and identity
COMPASSIONATE SPACE FRAMEWORK
Our approach draws from insights across the sciences and social impact in a holistic way.
